Presentation
Pequeños territorios en reconstrucción is a fable-based documentary inspired by the story of a real community of women who were displaced by an armed group during Columbia’s civil war. Refusing to be left endlessly itinerant, they decide to rebuild a village stone by stone to bring up their children in safety. « The city of women » comes to be a symbol of both hope and tenacity in which the two actresses slowly rebuild their homes. One by one, they carry onto the stage the 98 blocks. Each house has a story to be told or evokes a memory, illustrated by the image of those who built and inhabited it. It is with a touching level of humor and determination that these actresses define the contours of a place full of insecurity. Through courage, they manage to transform their lives where life once again becomes possible
