Investigative Drama  : Show in dyptich with
Tijuana

Presentation

Violence at work is another theme of the program, Le Quai de Ouistreham can be seen as a mirror image of Tijuana by the Mexican artist Gabino Rodríguez. It is a show born out of an immersive experience in the world of invisible labor. Created from a text by Florence Aubenas, the show plunges us into a « crisis », an economic one of which much has been said in the past but which is largely forgotten today, though we still bear the consequences. Living in Caen, the journalist decided to live for six months the life of a 50-year old uneducated single woman. Destined for a job as an industrial « cleaner,» she leads the life of someone we neither see nor hear about. Proud to be a show by and about women, Le Quai de Ouistreham brings together a female director and an actress to make audible the words of a female journalist who tried to give the crisis both a voice and a human presence.
